Can anyone recommend a really supportive bra for sleeping in?

I'm looking for a supportive bra to sleep in. I was size 34E before prgnant, and have just filled out a bit (not gone up a whole size), but my boobs are hot and very tender and certainly feel like they're growing! My normal bras cope ok in the day, but when I lie on my side at night, the top boob kind of slides down towards the bottom one (does that make sense?!) and really hurts. I generally get back to sleep by putting my forearm between them (elbow on belly button, fist by my throat!), but its not long before I've moved and woken up again.

I have tried wearing my normal bras and firm support sports bra at night, but they don't work because they're designed to hold things up and stop up/down movement - what I need is one that has mega support across the top of the cup!

Any recommendations?

how about a sports style bra with a rolled up flannel of something between your breasts??

i sleep in hidden support vests but my boobs are only a 32E at the mo.

I invested in some cheapy badly fitting mothercare feeding bras, last pregnancy they are great for night just a little bit of support, I put talc between boobs and cotton wool to stop them sticking/getting sweating and that seems to help!

Now 35 weeks and have had to switch to feeding bras during the day, though I have only investied in one so far as bound to change and this is a 36J god knows what size I will be after

Thanks for your replies, I will give them a go! I think the 'sports bra with flannel' will solve the problem for now, but feeding bras might help too.

Are feeding bras particularly supportive acros the top? I need something to keep them apart - mist bras are designed to push them together!

How far along are you? If you're still in the first trimester, try sleeping on your back. My boobs went from a 34D to 36F in about 3 weeks, and though they were really sore, I didn't find sleeping problematic because I'm a natural back sleeper. It's been learning to sleep on my left side that's been a real pain for me!
