Hi, didn't want to leave you unanswered.

I suppose it may or may not mean anything (unfortunately this happened in my previous pregnancy and it was bad news). But from what I gather, it's more likely to not mean anything

Either way, your mw ought to refer you to the early pregnancy unit so you can be scanned for reassurance. My mw said, 'call them and tell them exactly what you've just told me'. So you may have to do that. If she doesn't refer you then I'd be inclined to call them anyway (and say you've 'spoken to your midwife').

Good luck!

hiya

yeah, ive rang, because its not fresh and frank blood they don't automatically scan you, so i've got to ring up tomorrow morning and see if they can squeeze me in.

i've a MC before but at 5 weeks and it was full-on straight away so this is different, am hoping it's nothing too - and thanks for answering

x

Sorry to hear about your previous MC - hopefully the fact that things seem less full-on this time is good news Fingers crossed they squeeze you in and that you get reassurance

I had this at 6/7 weeks, went on for about 2 weeks or so, pink tinged, then blood flecked, then brown. All was well though and they don't know why.

Obviously, no one can say for sure at this stage, but it is very common. I hope you get your scan. The worst thing is not knowing, it's agony waiting around. I'd say if you've no pain and it's not getting worse then I'm sure things will be fine.

Have a chilled evening and try not to worry (easier said than done I know).
