Morning sickness in one pregnancy but not another?

Hi all, just looking for some nice experiences that will keep me positive and not let me dwell on the possibility I will be as poorly as I was last time with the sickness. I haven't had an implantation bleed this time round and I was wondering if it is the case that anyone has found each pregnancy completely different i terms of symptoms? I've heard that some people think that the severeness of symptoms is dependent on the babys gender? Anyone have a story and opinion? xxxxx

I was very sick (every day from 4-16 weeks) with dd1

Nauseous but no sickmess with ds

Sick from 9 - 18 weeks with dd2.

Had other rather nasty symptoms realted to a kidney problem - form 20 weeks with ds, from 10 weeks with dd2, nto with dd1.

Every pregnancy is different.

I did have quite bad sickness with dd (my first) but hardly any with the subsequent boys. I also had horrible headaches and all sorts with dd. Don't trust the gender thing though as my sister had hyperemesis with a boy, or maybe it's person specific. Hope it isn't so bad this time. Be sure to ask for the drugs asap if it is.

Yes - I was very sick and lost weight initially in my first pregnancy (dd), and not the slightest bit sick for my second pregnancy (ds)

Thanks for those replies, nice to know there is hope. Sorry for your bad experiences, everyone says you forget but i haven't and I feel like every meal i'm enjoying is my last for a long while . Sounds very dramatic I know but clearly you each know what I am talking about.

I was only sick with my girls (4). Even with twin boys, was not sick at all! It's fine.
