Has anyone had 2 totally different pregnancies?

By this I mean the symptoms. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with no2 and so far have yetto experience much of anything. By this time with my 1st I was having horrible morning sickness, went off all food and liquids, had heartburn andcouldn't stand the smell of anything.

I'm a bit worried that I don't even feel pregnant. Is this normal do you think or is there still time for it all to kick off or can 2 pregnancies be completely different?

I didn't feel pregnant with Immy until I was about 17-20 weeks. True the weight gain was a bit of a clue and so on, but I had very few symptoms and it was only because I'd tested at 6 1/2 weeks that I really had any idea. (I'd spotted at the time my period was due, 7 weeks and 17 weeks, so could easily have just assumed I was having odd periods.)

This time is roughly the same so far, but it's very early days indeed (4 + 3) so don't really know how the two compare just yet.

First pregnancy was a walk in the park compared to current (32 weeks) Loved being pregnant first time, hating it this time - vomiting for 24 weeks, chest infection for 6 weeks, unresponsive to antibiotics until course 4, now got SPD. Wondering if this one is a boy! Bump so different, carried DD in my arse!

Only 3 years between the two, so yes, they can be completely different!

Yes, With DS I felt incredibly sick from week 5, was sick, went off most food (lost weight which is a miracle for me) until 20 weeks. Then I had a bit of heartburn. Was incredibly tired beginning & end.
With DD I felt a bit sick, never was sick, ate like an eaty thing but had dreadful heartburn from quite early on. Tiredness never really hit - I was running & pushing DS round soft play in one of those cars at something like 38 weeks.

Yes.
With ds I felt sick (but didn't actually puke) until 16 wks, terrible heartburn and was really, really tired. Had a massive craving for salty food like crisps, crackers and cheese. Put on 4 and a half stone.
Looked fab. Everyone said I was 'glowing'. (Tmi, but was uncharacteristically randy too.)

With dd, puked my guts up for 21 weeks, hardly any heartburn. Got a really achey pelvis and couldn't sleep. Not as tired this time though. Got addicted to hot cross buns. Put on less than 2 stone. Looked rough as dogs for the whole thing. Would have rather have cleaned the bog than had sex.

Both really different.

Maybe because of baby's gender?

Totally different here as well.

DS (2.8) a walk in the park. Only problem was constipation. Sex was fantastic. No sickness, cravings, anything.

This time, morning sickness, insomnia, SPD from 20 something weeks, vaginal varicose veins, have not had sex/orgasm for months, depression (almost) for along time. Honestly, it's been a dream! Same weight gain both times. Am 37 weeks today, so almost there!

with my 1st two pg's they were uneventful 1 or 2 days of queasy feelings and even then the queasy feeling didnt appear until 9 weeks or so and disappeared by 10/11 weeks.
And then not much else after that very quiet 1st and 2nd pg's

with this pg(#3 now 22 weeks) i was queasy at 5 weeks and vomiting by 6 weeks(which i never did before) went off all food, smells drove me insane especially meat being cooked made me feel sick. Im still struggling to enjoy any food as i went off all my favourite foods (which is also new to me)had one week were all i could stomach was rice cakes and cereal. Even soup made me sick.
Had that horrible taste in my mouth too all from 6 weeks to about 16 weeks, oh it was just awful i havent enjoyed this pregnancy so far.
so yes pg #3 is not fun and totally differant after 2 nearly identical pg's

Hi I have two boys and my pregnancies & borths for both were completely different. Was terribly sick and put on lots of weight with first one and was very neat with no sickness whatsoever with second one. First one was born after a long drawn out 17 hour labour weighing 6lb while the second one was born within 1 hour weighing nearly 10lb!!!! don't think you ever get two the same!!!
