Off to have my baby this morning

Well, I've slept amazingly well considering...!!!

I'm off to have my elective section this morning - I've to be at the hospital for 8 but we are very close so we don't need to leave very early.

First on the list so they'll take me around about 9 - of course there may be some emergancies in before me but I have been that emergancy in the past so I have no problems with waiting.

No idea what we are having - I'm convinced its a boy but then I was sure my other 2 were boys - they are both girls..

This is definately my last - I was advised to be sterilised after D2 and I didn't take the advice then - I'm taking it today though and I find it very strange to think these are the last hours I'll ever be pregnant.

good luck look forward to reading the update, I had 2 elective c sections DD1 was scheduled for afternoon so didnt have to be at hospital till 10am and then the hours dragged (we were last on the list!) and dd2 was scheduled for morning had to be there at 6am but again last on the list and 2 emergencies too so didnt have her till after lunch time (cue my Mum panicing because DH hadnt rung her)

We have names...my Dh is slightly dithering about our boy's name but, well, he's just going to have to be told I think...

Our Girl's name has been set in stone for months and months and we are both really happy with it..!!

oooo it's exciting, with DD2 we found out the sex and had decided on JEssica or CHarlotte, the night before section DH said Harriet and then we liked Hattie so when she was born we decided def Hattie. When DH phoned everyone to say she had arrived etc lots of faces at the change of name but I couldnt imagine her being anything other than scatty Hattie now

Good luck!!

I'm booked in to have our DS the day after tomorrow. I'm hoping the snow we are having doesn't affect the date.
