Pregnancy

1st Baby Late - so when did your 2nd Baby arrive?

Hi,

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with DC2. DS was 10 days late and induced (after waters went but nothing else happened). I've a funny feeling that this one may be early but I'm not sure how likely that could happen? Funny feeling doesn't equate to any medical indicators - just lots of BH's early on, very emotional, baby getting ready in the right place etc...

So for all those ladies who have had 2 or more babies - if you were late with DC1, does this mostly mean you were late with DC2?

Lots of DC2's born around the due date - so looking positive! DS1 was way overdue as wrinkly peely flaky skin. I want this one to arrive on time, mainly as I don't want to be induced.

Thanks for your responses, keep em coming!

Didn't feel like that when I m/c several times, Paninied, but it seems the ones that decided to stick around became reluctant to come out
You'd have thought the exit would have been clearly signposted for the later ones.

DS was 7 days late, DD was 8 days late, but i'm still (foolishly?)optimistic that number 3 will be here on time...here's hoping. I'm 37 weeks and have cunning plan that if i just assume i'll be a week late then i may get a surprise! So not packing bag or getting clothes, pram ready etc (did everything super early with no.s 1&2) and hoping sod's law takes effect!

Goodness Juule, well done on all your babies! and 4andnot out - you done yet or are you going for more?

biggrilsdontcry - well that is a difference, any reason why DD was so early?

Slovenlymummy - good idea! I may follow your lead.

dd1- 10days late
dd2- 14 dyas late (induced)
BUT both dds v. long (56cm), lots of water, no wrinkly skin- so actually suspect my dates were wrong both times
dc3 has just started cooking so who knows..

Wow, juule, I'm in awe. Rofl at 'signpost'! Clearly your womb's just far too cosy - you should consider it a compliment having all those overdue babies.
