Animals/Pets and Pregnancy?

I have rather a lot of pets and am wondering what precautions I need to take during my pregancy. I know I should avoid changing the cat litter, or be careful if I do.

I have snakes, which I know can be a salmonella risk, but I am careful about hand washing etc anyway where they are concerned.

I also have pet rats, mice and dogs, do I need to take any spcial precautions around these?

Thankyou.

Hi I cant advise you on snakes/rodents. But good general hygiene hand washing after handling, cleaning ect should be ok. Maybe double check with an expert/vet.
Dogs make sure they are up to date with flea and worm control. Something from the vet not the cheap stuff. Also once baby born continue with regular worming every 3 months.
