Belly support like Cariwell - do they work?

I'm 24 weeks and have a much bigger bump this time than with Number 1 at the same stage. I'm still walking 50 minutes to work and back each day (25m each way) and I get a stitch and sore belly after about 5 minutes.

Does anyone know of any good bump supports that might help with this problem? e.g. I've seen the Blooming Marvellous Cariwell Maternity Microfibre Support Band online for £11 - does it really support the bump and make walking easier?

Any advice appreciated.

I've got one but I don't really like it much. Feels way too tight - maybe I bought too small.

Thanks Bubbles. Does anyone else have one, or something similar?

No, but have no bump yet, and this sounds like a good idea to me. Can you post if you hear anything?

I've started getting some pain low in the pelvis which my midwife says is the ligaments stretching in prep for birth (makes sense, though I'm only 27w) - she did give me the technical name for this but I can't remember it.

She recommended the Nexcare belt from Mothercare. It's bl**dy expensive (£35) so I might try to buy one online. Has anyone tried one of these? Do they help with belly/pelvis pain? Cheers.

Just in case anyone comes across this thread: I ended up getting a 3M Nexcare belt off eBay and have been wearing it while walking any distance. It's been fabulous, I can highly recommend it. I'm now 37 weeks and my pelvis pain hasn't gotten any worse. Not much better, but certainly no worse.

I've got the carriwell one but am a size 12 and had to send back the medium and buy a large size. I don't wear it all the time just if i'm going for a walk. Would advise getting the largest size and even then you may find it tight. I am 34 weeks.
