hello

I'm totally convinced I'm up the duff with no3. I've have ALL the symptoms(even increased ear wax which I only stumbled across as a symptom on here last week!) i've almost let it slip i'm pg because it feels so long since I decided I am.

My AF isn't due till sunday. Anyone else out there waiting to be late and feeling hopeful?? Or more importantly anyone else spent the last few week feeling pg only to discover it's the heat.

Aggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Well if you're not then I guess you're going to be a disappointed person with a bad earwax problem!

Seriously - hope you get the result of your dreams!

I feel like this every month at the moment as we're ttc, I've convinced myself of all sorts of symptoms (although not the ear-wax; maybe I should find a cotton bud and check...) and just as I'm about to wee on a stick and learn to knit bootees I wake up and find I'm on the blob again.

Never mind. I find the thought of gaining another few weeks of drinking and smoking cheers me up once I'm over the initial disappointment.

Spina, I am starting to wonder if I'm pregnant (would be DC3 if so). We started TTC this month but I really didn't think, dates wise, it was a possibility this cycle. Have done a preg test (well if I'm honest I've done more than that ) & the results have been negative. I have always had an irregular cycle, though since having DC2 my cycle seemed to be pretty regular so it could just be that my cycles are back to being all over the place.
Like you haven't been feeling great but could easily be due to the heat! I have also had loads of cramping which has now gone & been reading up on it & that app can be implantation which can increase with each pregnancy. Also one of my boobs is a bit leaky - so if I'm not pregnant that's a bit of a concern I would have thought!

soooo, Spina.... are you testing tomorrow?

I have to say, I'm so incredibly jealous of all you guys that are either pg or actually ttc!! I'm not allowed even start ttc baby #3 until September which feels like an age away (or at least it did when we first decided)

Hope it's a BFP for you Spina xxx

Oh and Cloudydaze with regards to leaky boobs - I'm not sure if this would be the same for you but I leak slightly from there at the days around ovulation for some reason. xx

Kaylo - DH has had his calendar out working out the best time for me to be off on maternity leave (am a teacher and he wants to negotiate around the summer holidays) - if it's any comfort, we apparently aren't ttc until the tail end of this year. I'm trying to get a jump on it, however, these things can take time....

Oh Armi...it's horrible having to wait isn't it?

Although, you would get kind of an extended leave period wouldn't you (I think?) But you're absolutely right thi...these things can take time - better to start soon so you know you're doing it right

Practise makes perfect, Kaylo. I wouldn't want to get anything wrong, after all!

With the summer holiday thing, the idea really is to time it so I'd be off work when I'm at my most enormous and knackered, go back for a day or so in the September, then off on maternity leave. But as we all know, baby making isn't an exact science; it's not like I can marshall my eggs and inform them that we will be conceiving a child in December, so they'd better make sure they're fit, ready and in the right place at the right time with a clean handkerchief and a field telephone.

You've only got a few months to go, Kaylo. Have another gin and tonic whilst you still can!

Oooooh, gin and tonic - sounds nice in theory but I'm tee-total, no drinking or smoking for me I'm boring like that

Great thinking re spending huge pg time away from classroom - very clever and cunning to think of it that way. I'm lucky that my job isn't demanding that way - my only worry is that I'll get too bug to fit behind the wheel of my car I don't like depending on others (maybe thats why I hate waiting for DH .

I love the military style ovulation!!! I wish you could really boss them around like that, hehe wouldn't it be easier??

Maybe the bossy approach to ttc should be adopted. Has anyone actually tried it? Maybe what these eggs and sperm need is a bit of leadership and some clear instructions.
