I only have c. 6 wks to go before the big day (if the baby comes on time), and I am feeling extremely restless. Does anyone else feel the same at this stage? I go for perpetual walks, I can't sit down for any long period of time to read or watch TV. i feel bored most of the time although there are things to do. I feel utterly uninspired to do anything. I just feel like a bored teenager moping about the house complaining of boredom. Tell me these feelings won't last for the next 6 wks.

I am 35 weeks and feel exactly the same- I can't be bothered to do anything, everything is a chore- the only thing that inspires me is aqua aerobics or the gym as I feel like a human there not some tired angry hippo

None of my clothes fit but it's pointless buying any new ones

I am torn between wanting to start maternity leave early (I have another 2 weeks to go) but I know I'll be even more fed up at home all day!

This stage is pants!!!

Yeah, i really wish I could start mat leave now, but we can't afford it. All I have done is asked to do less shifts in the next two weeks. But work is a real chore when one is this big.

I'm 34 weeks too (DC2) and I'm relishing every single moment til the little one arrives. Such hell breaks loose when the little darlings arrive that these precious last moments of you time and partner time will seem like days of lost paradise when you're drained, exhausted and shocked (though thrilled to bits of course!) in the aftermath of the birth (which lasts for a couple of years if you've got a non sleeper like mine).

Enjoy your time to yourself now!!!!

Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy, won't be long now til you meet your little one!
