hi,

I am 33 + 1 and i am becoming a neurotic hyper sensative over emotional wreck.

For some reason my usual practical down to earth easy going mentality has completley changed and all i can think of is how i have never changed a nappy and what if i forget to feed the baby when its here etc.

On top of this I am only comfortable lying down or in a swimming pool as my back has really begun to hurt (which is strange as i have kept fit through pregnancy)

any ideas / experience- when will this end?

Hi Pippa x

I call this Mummy mush brain syndrome, I first started suffering 20 yrs ago when I had my DS and been suffering ever since lol, now 10 weeks PG again and its back with full force

It seems to be quite normal what your going through, think you quite lucky that you have gone all this time before it started [jealous emoticon]

Everything will come very naturally to you once you have the baby, I was amazed how I just got on with things and how natural it all was when I had my first, and don't forget you have lots of support once the bay is born, MW's, HV's etc oh and us lot on here

The backache is quite normal too considering you are carrying that baby around 24/7,if it gets too much though, mention it to your MW she may recommend wearing some support to help ease it for you.

Hope you start feeling better bout it all soon and the back ache eases

xxXxx
