Congratulations on your pregnancy. Durng early pregnancy I never had consipation - more often was loser, but never liquid... Ensure you are drinking plenty of fluids - you do not want to get dehydrated. And try eating only plain foods eg toast. If it continues tomorrow I'd recommend you get yourself checked out by your GP or MW.

I'd say if it is only for a day or so then not to worry and just keep hydrated and eat potatoes and dry toast etc. As divedaisy says, see gp or call the midwife if it lasts. But I was once told that at that point in pregnancy it doesn't matter too much as they are like a little parasite (gross i know) and they just feed off your body - that is why women with severe morning sickness still have perfectly healthy babies.

Yeh - babies are greedy little things - you go through all the sickness, nausea etc and they continue to suck all the goodness out of you!!

You may have picked up a bug or eaten something that hasn't agreed with you.

hoops997 - you should check out the antenatal clubs on here to find a club for your due month. You'll get loads of support and go through things together with others!

thanks dive, already found the December 2009 thread, it's cool that there are loads of women who have just had a BFP like me, still can't quite believe it.....took 3 normal tests and a clearblue digi expensive thing, still take them out of the drawer just to check I'm not dreaming!!

enjoy your antenatal club! And I wish yo all the best for your pregnancy!

Your club will be full of alltypes of mums-to-be. you'll get loads of experiences from mums already and go through all the new worries with new mums too! You'll find it reassuring to know just how much you're going through is perfectly normal.

I've only a few weeks to go (maybe days as I see my consultant tomorrow re induction) and I'm still gleeming & giving advice/encouragement/courage (!!)/support/etc to those on my thread! Before you know it you'll be heading over to the postnatal threads too!!!

xx
