Hi ladies, need some advice please.

Did pg test yesterday as was having alot of symptoms of being pregnant, feeling sick, very bad wind, dog acting different, moodiness, Burny boobs, peeing lots, increased appetite etc etc. Yesterday had tmi warning a tiny amount of brown sticky cm, wiped away and none since.
As it was my 4th test of the month i dismissed it after about 3 minutes as no line had shown up. Tesco test.
Went back to tidy up few hours later picked test up, looked and had 2 lines. Red thick line in one window and the test window had a red line, thinner but not hard to see.
I dont know how soon this line came up, as i say i dismissed it after about 3 mins.
So everyones telling me yesterday (little sis etc) a lines a line im pregnant. Kinda got excited both dh and I.
Did clearblue test digital thing this morning and says 'not pregnant' clear and simple.
I'm not imagining these feeling, i def feel different if i go with my instinct. Todays Fri so i wont be able to see a Dr for blood test till next week what the heck am i meant to think/so now?
Have any of you experienced this? By the way im 29 days into my cycle, first month ttc, been of the pill for year and a half.
Many thanks for any help you can give me.

Most likely the line didn't show up for hours, which is why they tell you to ignore it after about 5 minutes. The Clearblue is probably right and you are not pregnant.

Sorry! Better luck next month!

Thanks tee, will wait and see what happens, the line in the test window is definately pink not grey and most advice sites say evap lines normally grey, and the line will only turn a colour if hcg is detected so im gonna wait a few days. Most my family say the non digital ones are better i just dont know.

you don;t need a blood test. just retest with FMU and read the result within the time allocated. a line is not a line if it is not read within the time limit.
however as the clearblue test said not pregnant, i would be inclined to believe it

if it is only your first month TTC give yourself some time !

a lot of pre menstrual symptoms can be confused with those of early pregnancy and it is easy to talk yourself into feeling pregnant.

Firstly, I don't want to get your hopes but I used a Tesco test at 28+2 and it took about ten minutes for the 2nd line to show all be it very faint. I was pregnant.

The point in question here is just how long it was before your test showed positive? The clear blue test may not have had the same concentration of urine and has therefor shown negative. Obviously it is best to test again in a couple of days for a conclusive result. Fingers crossed!

Hi Happyjules,

ok the tesco one i have no idesa how long i left it for, i just know that i dismissed it after 3/4 mins. Did a Lloyds chemist one today and within 10 mins has a nice faint blue line.

Started bleeding yesterday only lightly, not enough to need towels etc etc, just wipe away amounts. Have no cramps or clots just bleeding, so keeping an eye on it.

I used the tesco test this week and had a faint line on both after a few minutes - went and got a clear blue digital one the following day as needed to know for sure so think the tesco ones are just not as easy to read

Sorry, I've only just realised just how desperate sorry keen you are for this to happen.
Don't worry, so many of us have been there. I've have a similar experience with the bleeding. It's just enough to make you think that your period is starting isn't it?

yes it is, im thinking actually it is af despite the 3 positive tests (did another lloyds test this morning and same faint blue line this time appeared within 4 mins i timed it) ive now got. Gonna hang on now see how long bleeding last for. If i am pg then i will know def in a few weeks when symptoms get more. Its all i can do.

thanks for your help anyway.
