I didn't have any symptoms at all early in this pregnancy. I am now getting really bad SPD and heartburn at 27 weeks but in the early stages I honestly would not have known I was pregnant at all until I started getting a bump, well and the positive test of course! No sore boobs, no tiredness, no sickness, nothing.

This worried me a great deal as I had two miscarriages before, included one missed miscarriage, so I was of course convinced it was another one.

But all was fine on the scan, and chances are that you will be fine too!

The scan is usually done at about 12 weeks usually, by the way.

Not everyone gets sickness in pregnancy - I didn't with either of mine - am now 27 weeks with number 2. Boob ache was my only symptom, don't be alarmed though if that starts to go in the next week or so, it's quite normal. Re scan dates , it depends on where you live - most places will do a scan at 12 weeks to date the pregnancy - I got my date on the booking in visit with the MW. Hopefully you'll feel more reassured once you see the midwife.

Try not to worry about morning sickness. I am currently 37wks pg with my 3rd and have never had morning sickness in any of my pregnancies.

I'm busy at work, OP, but had to reply to your question because you need reassuring.I worried about having virtually NO pregnancy symptoms the whole way through my pregnancy. Midwives I talked to throughout assured me all was fine, that every pregnancy was different and that I was very lucky not to be throwing up.And they were right. DS is now 22 months old and a very strong and healthy, beautiful little boy.
Look after yourself and count yourself lucky you have no symptoms for now. You'll be looking back to these 'comfortable' days when you're late on in pregnancy and have an aching back, are extremely tired etc etc...

Actually, I remeber now I had heartburn and back ache later on in pregnancy. But not much more. Don't worry, it won't be long before you are very aware you are pregnant!

I had no symptoms either in the first trimester not even sore boobs - and was totally convinced when I went for the scan at 12 weeks there would be nothing there but there was - my ds is now 6 months. Try not and worry about it ( easier said than done I know). I never felt sick once during my whole pg but then had the joys of anaemia, low bp, ligament pain etc etc later on. Good luck.

I had nothing with 1st pregnancy, and kept wishing for ms lol
This time I have had a sick feeling quite a bit (not been sick though) and was exhausted until this week when I hit 13 weeks but I think I have felt alot worse this time as its twins lol.

Its hard to relax in the early days but enjoy feeling well because you will be posting in 7 months time about feeling too pg lol

Congrats and good luck

I didn't get any sickness with my first pregnancy either (he's now 3 ).

I don't know whether your body gets more used to being pregnant, but had a much worse time with my second (also cos of running round after a toddler) and now I get pregnancy symptoms instead of period symptoms every month!

So enjoy it while it lasts
