Short Anterior cervix am i close to going into labour?

im 38 weeks and saw the midwife today i am feeling lots of presure so i asked for a ve she said she could feel the head as its very low and cervix is short and anterior is this a positive thing or could i still be weeks away from labour?

is this your first baby? a short soft anterior cervix is good , but does not neccesarily mean baby won;t hang on until 40 weeks or more.. you are certainly heading in the right direction though

This is my 3rd baby my ds was born at 38 weeks so im hoping i dont have long to go.
