Pain in CS scar?

Has anyone had it?

I'm 28 weeks with my third, had a CS 7years ago and one 3yrs ago, so relatively old scar but it's sore, not like stabbing pains or anything, more like when it was a new scar iyswim.

I haven't had any other pains, except sharp twinges in my cervix but I ahd that with the other two as well so I think it's just babies weight n it that's doing that.

(I am going to call hospital in a minute, but it's engaged so thoguht I'd post here whilst I waited)

Hi, hope you are feeling ok, have just had similar myself, am 35 weeks and have had 2 previous cs. Have had twinges off and on like this for a few weeks but it comes and goes. Midwife said baby lying back to back which doesn't really help but I have to say it's a bit of a scary feeling isn't it!

It seems to be very very common to have twinges or soreness in the scar area during subsequent pregnancies. Mary Cronk who is very experienced in VBACs believes that it may be due to adhesions breaking down as the uterus grows.

I experienced this loads during my last pregnancy and went on to have a straightforward VBA2C.
