Feeling so sick and dizzy - not fun at all :(

Hi

Just wanting some reassurance. I am 13 weeks pg with my second baby. DD is only 11 months old so I feel like an old hand at this....

But I feel so incredibly sick and dizzy - it's actually getting worse as each day goes by rather than better (I thought it was supposed to get better around 12 to 13 weeks?)

It's ruined my Christmas and I am so sick of running to the loo every 5 minutes! I'm not physcially sick all the time (only about once or twice a day).

I'm just wondering if I should see my doctor because it is getting worse? I'm reluctant to because last time I was PG I went at 7 weeks to say I was utterly exhausted and she actually laughed in my face and told me that's what being pregnant entails . I felt so stupid.

Anyway, just wanted some reassurance. I don't know if it's affecting me worse now because I can't stop and rest as I have a lightning crawler to chase after all day!

I think if you are managing to keep something down (not throwing up all the time) you needn't worry
try a bit of grated ginger in a cup of hot water, with maybe some honey or sugar, or anything gingery.
I always felt queasy for the first 4 months, but never threw up.

Could be you are anaemic? I feel dizzy like that when I am getting low on iron. Also I never got out of the morning sickness phase until I got to nearly 20 weeks with my pg's.

If your gp is being unsympathetic, ring your midwife. You do need some reassurance here.

I'm 25 weeks and still feel terrible, Go back to your gp or see your m/w, you could have a blood pressure issue (mine is low which I why I feel like this) or anaemia etc.

I got worse around the 11-16 weeks mark and then it got a lot better around 22 weeks. I am still being sick and feel tired and get dizzy a lot. I fell over last week as I had a dizzy spell.

I think if it doesn't clear by 16 week then maybe go see about it. But as long asyou keep drinking water and eating little and often then you should be ok x
