I'm trying to make the same decison too! I think it's going to come down to where I can find the best second hand offer!

Ive got a Kari-Me and I love it! Was so handy for when I just had to walk into town and so nice not having to deal with a buggy etc, also good when Finn was teeny and Id just put him in it around the house so that I could get on with things.

Very comfy too x

I had a Hug-a-Bub and it was fantastic until DD got to about 18lbs when the stretch became more of a hinderance than a help.

I'm not an expert, but from what I know...

Moby, Kari-Me and Hug-a-Bub are all stretch wraps. I'm sure they have their idiosyncracies (Hug-a-Bub doesn't describe a back cary whilst the others do for one), but they're basically all variations on the theme of a long length of lightly stretchy cotton that you can tie how you like to support your baby. Maya Wrap's are ring slings, so a little bit different.

I'd love to get on with ring slings but whenever I've tried them they just don't seem to work for me. I've now got a woven didymos wrap sling (not stretchy - slightly harder to use but more supportive and more versatile than the hug-a-bub) that's becoming my new best friend .

If you're dithering on type of sling it might be worth looking on SingMeet to try and find a group meeting near you, where you'd probably get to see and/or try a lot of the slings in action and talk to people that are using them about pros and cons.

Kari-Me for me. Once you get the hang of how to tie it is's brilliant! Would be my no 1 recommendation
