Here is another repetitive question but since Friday the LO hasn't moved as much as normal .. I have one of those baby monitors so I have picked up her heartbeat and she has a little wriggle when the machine is on but no almighty kicks - have just read Emma Diary and at 30 weeks she is getting big kicks- I know its not real life but anyone else noticed this down side in activities???

as the baby gets bigger there is less room forthem to move. if you are worried keep checking her heartbeat with your doppler and also maybe see the mw for reassurance. my little man moved less and less as time went on. somedays there was nothing at all, thank goodness for my doppler!

I've noticed this too since the weekend (am 32 weeks). I can accept that they have less room to move around in but I would have thought that the movements you do feel would be stronger, whereas my little monkey is making very soft gentle movements.

She is still doing her 10 kicks per day but just not the manic stuff that I was getting last week.

It's really strange as Friday she kicked me sick after my dinner she booted me that hard, I just haven't had kicks so to speak more like squirming which changes the shape of my bump .. its almost like she is sleeping because I can wake her up and she does respond but it just seems different from last week.. although she had the hiccups yesterday morning which was a strange sensation!

I'm 29+5 and have noticed exactly the same thing: baby's still moving but much less strongly than before. Everything's been fine at my mw checks so I was putting it down to the baby having less room. I'm no expert - this is my first baby - but hope this helps reassure you xx

Hi
I mentioned the same on one of the antenatal threads and got the same response as mentioned above - less room to move. Saw m/w who said mentioned the same thing aswell - but just to be aware that it doesn't completely stop.

sometimes if you want them to move/wake up drink a cold sugary drink and lie down!!! something i heard when i was pregnant with my first and only! i worried constantly, i think it is normal especially when it is your first and everything is new. good luck for those awaiting the arrival of theirs.xx
