400 is a about what you pay for any second hand bug cam. I brought new and i've now got a second hand frog. I'd try and get a second hand one to same some money.

Yeah bothered me too. Frog is much better. The website that has it is www.babyboom2000.com.

2nd hand frogs are going really quite cheap on ebay and it seems that there are quite a few people who have owned cam and frog and prefer frog. They range from 200-300 on ebay - go for one local enough to collect!

You can still use the fleeces etc on frog too. To me it feels sturdy. I'm trying to get the seat/carrycot chassis as that fits on the frog frame.

I'd prefer a frog but need the extending handle for the buggyboard as dd 5 has some visual and mobility issues and tires easily...

I can't wait til xmas in the hope of getting stuff cheap, am due 3rd Jan!!!

and STILL haven't bought a thing. Am getting quite stressed about it all now! Run a company with dp so have little time to think - have also bought a new house and are getting work done on it which HAS to be completed before baby comes...

really think we want a cam based on feedback from friends/mumsnet but just keep fannying about re new/2nd hand/2007 model/2008 model...

don't know if I have enough brain cells left over from work etc!!!!

piffle I used a lascal 3g buggyboard on my frog absolutely no problems can send you a photo if you like. The secret is to attach it to the uprights not the axle bar. Never tried it with the carrycot though.
