Cramps in week 4-5

When I was pg with my first ds I had cramps in my 5th week (felt like AF on her way). Is this the embryo embedding?

Anyway, I'm now in my 5th week with 2nd pgcy and haven't noticed any cramps. Do you think this is anything to worry about?

I definatly think the cramps for your first were the embryo embedding.

Perhaps with your second, it has attached more easily than last time and does not feel the need for extra "burrowing"?

I had cramps with both but less with the second too - and with my second the cramps were later, more like 6 weeks (I also had implemtation bleeding with both, and again, the bleeding with the second was nearer 5-6 weeks whereas with first it was pretty much when my period was due)

If your other symptons are still sticking around I.E tender boobs/pmt feeling then I really wouldn't worry. Maybe just try and take it easy for a week or so to help things along?

i had period like cramps for the first few weeks of pregnancy and a very small bit of brown bleeding at about six weeks which totally freaked me out but turned out to be nothing...
I think it's all normal - cramps/no cramps - just depends on the individual. good luck

it can be normal to get cramps/ period type pains around the time you would be getting your period if not pregnant. but it is just as normal not to get this either.

I would say tender boobs etc. are the more reliable symptoms.....

Thanks for the info. I had a definite BFP at 4 weeks and with my first pregnancy I didn't really have any symptoms apart from cramps until 6 weeks when I started getting good old morning sickness.

I want symptoms! I think they'd reassure me that things are happening! Maybe I should be pleased everything's calm for now!
