at just 5 weeks i am still so surprised and happy i dont feel i should ring the local midwife to get booked in for a scan as I still feel its too early? I have had 2 miscarriages previously (1 of which is on my notes with them) and I dont want to jinx anything......at the same time I want to phone so I get a scan booked in x

I think I was about ten weeks. I put it off because I hate injections!

Congratulations on your news!

I went to my g.p who refered me to our local m/w who rang me and aranged to see me at 10-12 weeks. Tell whoever you talk to about your m/c's to arrange an early scan.

Phone them! I had my booking appointment at 6 weeks - admitedly they didn't do anything, but it was my first and I was excited!! I'm sure they'll book you in for a scan and will put your mind at ease. Congratulations

I had my booking in at 7 weeks, they didn't do much except give me a folder with loads of leaflets, etc. Still it's exciting and weirdly kind of makes it feel more 'official'!

Macdoodle that's ironic. I kept pestering them for a booking in and they told me to sit tight until after my nuchal when they'd send me an appointment. So, seeing MW for first time on Thursday and I'm 15 weeks!

She might as well have waited and taken all my details when I was legs akimbo in the delivery room!
