Pain where placenta is......

I've been getting a apin across the top of my bump every now and then when I'm walking or have been rushing about. It's a bit like a strong stitch and quite fierce. On my notes it says placenta is anterior high. Does it sound like something to worry about or just another pg aches and pains thing?

I've been getting the same thing since wk 14(am now 17 weeks) and have been worried sick.(Nice to know I'm not alone )
Been back and forward with to the docs and hospital having had various tests and scans and the general feeling is that it's either "body stretching","a trapped uterus" or "braxton hicks"
Painful but safe for baby.

I'd get it checked out though just to be sure. How many weeks PG are you?

I'm 27 weeks now. I've had braxton hicks before but they didn't hurt at all and made the bump go hard - this just hurts and feels like something is being pulled down if that makes sense??! I've got the midwife coming on Friday so will ask her. I've been over-doing it a bit so having a slight panic!!

Hiya twoplusone!! I'd been wondering how you were getting on - had no idea you were expecting your number 3! It's nice having 3, hard work but all good! Hope all's weel
