Another braxton hicks question!

Hiya, this whole BH has been confusing me slightly...I can't get a definite decription of what they feel like other than a 'tightening of the uterus' - but I'm not entirely sure where my uterus is!

Anyway over the past couple of weeks I've been getting lots of tightenings, but on the top of my stomach - belly button level, just above and to either side. I also get them occasionally in my lower abdomen which feel like my jeans are too tight for a minute or so.

I seem to get the ones at the top/side of my stomach quite a lot if I lift something or lean forwards - for example to put socks on while I'm sitting on the bed, or I lean forwards slightly in my computer chair.

Sometimes (liek now), my tummy suddenly feels really full and bloated, and the skin feels really tight. Is that a BH thing or is it all just my imagination?! Or could the baby be pushing against my stomach constantly while it's happening?

Oh and how about a dull ache (period pain type) really low down? Get that too

Have you had really good sex that has made the lower bit of your stomache ache and tighten etc thats how my bh were good luck

That's why I was wondering - I thought BH were meant to be low down, where I get this feeling higher up.

I found it made my whole stomache ache too, Could the sides be the baby turning moving?

I did wonder that, but if I put my hand on my stomach at the same time the tightening is happening, i can't feel him moving aroun, kicking or anything like that. I also can't feel any 'bony bits' (hehe) - hwreas normally if I put my hand on my stomach when I know it's him moving, I can feel him - arms or legs or whatever.

That make sense?
