Pregnancy

The indignity of late pregnancy

37+5 and I had to go and buy some Tena Lady Blush. Thought I was in labour earlier this week but the little one was playing games. Now it seems like she'd rather head butt me in the bladder than the cervix. Oh the glamour of being pregnant!

I had to buy Tena Lady a while back. I have a cold and very bad cough and at night seem to lose control. Also have spd.

Sneezing is like a multi task at the moment (having to cross my legs at the same time) not attractive at all haha

DH has a photo somewhere of me at 39 weeks stuck on all fours, trying to stretch my back and get DS into the right position... With the cat sitting on my back cleaning his arse. Not even a shred of dignity Grin

Thanks for making me laugh shoestring, what a picture!

Glad I'm not the only one! Those of you with SPD have my sympathies - it must be awful!

I was out in town this morning when it started happening and was too embarrassed to tell DH why I suddenly had to walk at a shuffle 🙄 Then we went to the park and DD expected me to go on the trampoline mat with her as per usual 😂

I got horrendous hormone related migraines at the end of my last pregnancy, which resulted in my vomiting next to the car at 38+ weeks while DD1 sat in her car seat asking me if was ok. My pelvic floor didn't see me through that particularly well.

Mines been gas, I'm 36 weeks and I've been quietly trumping as I walk for a few weeks now, the baby seems to think it's fun causing this but I've started to feel bad and nervous when people walk behind me Blush

Thankfully ds2 is notorious for letting rip so he's been taking the blame for me Grin sometimes anyway

flowerydems I have gas problems from the other end. I do manly beer and burger fuelled style burps! If I don't burp the gas is audibly bubbling inside me everytime I breathe, it's so strange! Have managed to avoid public humiliation so far...just poor family and close friends that have had to witness the horror!

Sadly chloechloe I had an 'accident' at 28 weeks when baby's head engaged early and put unexpected pressure on my bladder so DH found out when he found me frantically drying the wet patch on our lovely sofa Blush I've been in ten lady land since (37+1 now)!

GrinGrin mumonashoestring !!

Indignity? I hope you're ready for labour, childbirth and the first 6 weeks of checks on stitches/scars wherever they may be.

Thanks for sharing your stories ladies Smile

Shock at bella!

This is my second bibbity so I have some idea, though I had to have a CS last time so escaped the horrors of labour!

Ugh yes to the wind. Every time I have a we, I let out a long and loud parp. It's a bit embarressing at work but it's beyond my power to stop it!!
Also, recent developments. Piles. And a varicose vein of the fanjo

Nah I'd say frequently throwing up all over myself and everything in sight and having to ask what the lump ( piles ) hanging out my bum hole was was far worse than childbirth Grin
