Thought I'd had MMC now fetal pole slow heartbeat

Hi, this is my first post but I've been reading threads on here for a while, and I'd like to share my experiences of the last few weeks and hopefully get a few words of encouragement 😊
By my LMP I think I should be roughly 10+3. Last Thursday I had some spotting whilst at work, so me being super anxious I made my way to the EPU and had a scan. It showed a very small fetal pole and no heartbeat. The midwife tried to be reassuring and asked me to come back today for another scan to check if there was any progress. The scan today showed the little bean had doubled in size to over 6mm, and we saw the little flicker of a heartbeat 😊 . However, the sonographer said she was quite concerned, as the heartbeat was slower than she would have liked, and now I'm booked back in for another scan next Friday.
The scan today puts me at roughy 6+3. I'm really perplexed and worried, as I got a positive test result exactly seven weeks ago today. My other half is quietly optimistic, but having spent the last week preparing myself for the news of MMC I'm an emotional wreck right now and can't help thinking a MC is now almost inevitable 🙁. Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks xx

Hi there
Is this your first pregnancy?
I'm 6 weeks pregnant, this is my second pregnancy.
My first pregnancy ended in July at almost 7 weeks. Like you I had a little spotting so went for a scan, the foetus was smaller than it should've been and the heartbeat slower than it should've been. They told me I would most probably miscarry, and a few days later, I did.
I hope this doesn't happen to you too but just thought I'd share my own experience. Best of luck

Thanks Lizzy 😊
To be honest I'd already accepted the pregnancy was over, I had the biggest shock of my life when the scan showed there had been progress. I'm holding on to hope 😊
This is my third pregnancy, but my children are 9 and 11 so it feels like it's all new again.
I think the next seven days of waiting will be the longest in my life I think

Best of luck. Every pregnancy is different so just because it happened to me doesn't mean it'll happen to you too! Keep us posted and take it easy. Stressing won't change a thing! X
