Hi,
So, I'm 14 weeks pregnant and over the last few days I have started being sick several times of day (morning and evening) and when I'm not being sick I am dry retching. Previously I was sick on the odd day but only really in week 12. I've been very tired since the start but is getting worse - I feel normal for an hour or so immediately after being sick but the rest of the time can barely do anything. This is impacting on my impact to do much work and I haven't done any house work for weeks (when I have tried I end up putting washing on one day and not being able to hang it up until 3 days later!). Today I have also started getting really watery diarreah (sorry TMI! And poor spelling).
DH thinks I could go see a GP but I am worried that this is all still normal and there won't be anything that they can do for me. I'm still keeping some liquids down so I don't think I am getting dehydrated and it doesn't seem as bad as others suffer but it is causing difficulties and is getting worse.... This is my first pregnancy and I don't have any family or close friends who have had babies recently so I have no sense for what is normal. So when does sickness stop being normal and worth going to see someone about? Thanks!
