Hello. It feels a little surreal to be writing in the pregnancy forum; after 10 months of ttc I got my bfp this week ! Ironically I was waiting for blood test results to see if I was ovulating and we had recently received "sub-optimal" sperm analysis results.
My cycles have been irregular during ttc, thankfully shortening more recently. My last cycle before bfp was 31 days.
Now I understand the whole concept that to start off your pregnancy is counted from day1 of AF (for me this was 30th sept),however I ov a bit later than normal and fertility friend puts my ov at cd19 which was 18th oct.
If I go from cycle day one I'm technically 5 weeks pregnant, however if I go by aprox conception I'm only 4 weeks and 2 days.
I'm not too worried about how far along the GP and midwife go by, but what I'm trying to understand is how far along should I consider myself in terms of symptoms and how my little cub is progressing?
Any words of wisdom would be greatly reciebeived.
