Bump isn't growing?

Hi all. I am 32w4d and since around 27 or so weeks my bump just doesn't seem to have grown? My midwife did the fundal measurement at 27 weeks and I measured bang on 27 weeks and had another one done at 30 weeks and I measured just above average but I think it was wrong cos she rushed it that time and also I had a LOT to eat that day (appointment was in the afternoon). I don't know really I am just worried as everyone's bump is growing at a rapid rate but mine is staying the same! Baby moving around a lot and seems happy in there but what If Baby has stopped growing? My midwife appt is on wed next week so will find out then but has anyones bump sort of plateaued? This is my first baby , i am only 4'11'' so im small but still not expecting my bump to be this small! Do you think midwife would of picked it up on the measurement tape if there was any cause for concern?

Don't listen to those fundal height things

They don't really tell you anything and causes more worry than fuss. I had to go to hospital after every midwife appointment for a scan as I measured too small. Even the midwife knew I was fine but her training said she had to send me.

And my babies were fine. Every time. I just had a neat bump

I had a tiny you bump with pg1 and 2 (think bloated) I always measured 2weeks behind or no change. See what the measurements are at your next appointment and don't be afraid to ask her if you're concerned. My midwife to me at the time that they're just rough guides and it's only really if you're showing smaller than before or if there's a consist lack of growth for all appointments that they may send you for a growth scan. My DD was well hidden at the back and was only 5 12 when born and apart from being a nutter she's perfectly healthy Hmm

I think you should embrace a small bump. I've always had small bumps but not small babies. My last baby I had extra scans because my bump was measuring small at my midwife appointments so the midwifes would definitely pick up on any concerns, he was 8lb 4oz when he was born!! A small bump is no indication that the baby is small. I've also known woman whose bumps are huge and they have 5 or 6 pounders. The bump doesn't really tell you anything. You could balloon in the last few weeks. Enjoy your lovely small bump and the rest of your pregnancy. Best of luck.

Currently I don't think anybody knows what they are doing I've been measuring bang on all the way through at 31 weeks my bump measured under the lowest line around 28 weeks so they sent me for a growth scan on Thursday which said my baby was over the 90th percentile line measuring at 33 weeks and he apparently already weighs 4ib3oz. So now I'm panicking that I'm further along than I thought or he's going to be to big and I'm only 5ft2 I don't know if they just like to panic us. Try not to worry I can't see how it is accurate measuring your tummy

I am 4ft 11 too and I measured small from about 28 weeks until I delivered I had a growth scan and ds was on the small side of normal but perfectly fine the dr said it is what she would have expected cos of my size so I am sure u are the same tbh I drove myself mad with bump envy I was still wearing size 10 -12 clothes and was jealous of all the ladies who were massive, Good luck x x
