Hayfever - Driving me crazy!!!

Hello all

I'm really struggling with hayfever the past couple of weeks.
I was even awake for two hours last night it was bothering me that much!!

I've tried the nasal sprays and they don't agree with me at all.
Does anyone know if there's any safe tablets you can take?

I'm so used to taking antihistamine every year without a second thought! I'm 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow!

Thanks in advance Smile

you can take loratadine or cetirizine or piriton.

I took ceterizine the whole way through pregnancy (I have a dust allergy as well as hayfever).

Ok brilliant, thanks.
I thought Piriton but I've been reading conflicting information!

Thank you!

I can't get on with nasal sprays either, but I have found that Boots' Allergy Barrier 'spray' works well. It's not a liquid spray (they make me gag) but is a powder that coats the inside of your nostrils. Might be worth checking out if the tablet route doesn't pan out for you xx

I spoke to a pharmacist yesterday who checked his book which said loratadine (Claritin) was the first treatment to take. I will ask the doctor about certitizine if it doesn't start working soon as I know that works for me.
