Faint pregnancy tests and brown discharge?!

My period was due on 27/06/16 and its never normally late so i did 2 pregnancy tests that day and they both came up clear positives. I did another one the next day on 28/06/16 and it was clear positive aswell. I then did 2 more on the 30/06/16 and they were both clear positives. I did another one the next day on 1/07/17 with the same result but started getting very light brown discharge type stuff when i wipe. I then did one pregnancy test a day for the next 3 days which all came up clear positives. Ive had the light brown stuff every day and still have it now. I did a pregnancy test yesterday on 15/07/16 and it was positive, the line is clear but not as dark as any others ive done. Ive done another one today with FMU and its more faint than yesterday. Its my first pregnancy and from searching google too much im just worried if im having an early miscarriage and the lines are just going to get fainter until its not there anymore?

(Bottom test is yesterday, top is today)

No experience of this but perhaps try the clear blue conception indicator ones? Then you can see if the weeks are increasing?

That's the most positive positive I've seen on here! Congratulations!

That's still a clear positive I really wouldn't drive yourself mad doing daily urine tests. If you are having brown loss then see your GP and they will either do blood tests 48h hours apart to see what hormone levels are doing or refer you to the early pregnancy unit (in our area if you are at least 6 weeks since last LMP they will scan)

Although TBH those are both pretty strong positives looking at them lol stronger than my last and I'm now 26+3

Don't worry about the brown discharge love, unless it's bright red and substantial, you're not losing your baby try and relax.

Thanks everyone, im just making myself worry over nothing no doubt. When i told my gp about the brown stuff she just said its probably old blood and its really common and nothing to worry about. My first midwife appointment isnt until 18/08 so i cant ask her about it either

You don't need to, your GP has told you. Are you anxious in other areas of your life op?

I had brown bleeding from weeks 5 to 9 in my last pregnancy and all was fine. See GP and they can refer you to EPAC if needed.

Sorry to say but I've had brown discharge before 2 missed miscarriages. I've also had it with my second healthy pregnancy though, but not for long. Maybe only a day.

If your pregnancy symptoms (if you had any) have decreased it could be bad news.

Randomly, with my first mc I went to hospital to get checked (i thought i was 10 weeks). The consultant told me i was worrying over nothing, brown discharge was fine etc. I said yes i know, but i read something on bupa website (describing missed miscarriage with brown dc and loss of other symptoms). Anyway, he couldn't find anything with tummy scan so did vaginal, where it became apparent that i was right and he was wrong, which he admitted with regret. Anyway... the point of this was that due to the fact that I'd had a vaginal scan he was able to see, afterwards, what sort of discharge i was having (as it was stuck to the probe thing, tmi, i know). He was very confused because he said it was more common with ectopic pregnancies and was i sure i wasn't in a lot of pain? Umm no. So anyway, any sign of pain get yourself to hospital. I think you should get bloods done at least anyway.

Im not having any pain. And ive had morning sickness for the past 5/6days, this morning included. Im still urinating alot more than usual and im tired all the time. If i go to the doctors will they refer me for blood tests?

Try diluting urine! Sounds like you could be about 6 weeks? I had been testing daily too and was horrified at a lighter line around 6 weeks! Read about the hook effect, took a test more water than urine in pot and it was very dark.

I had brown discharge for around 2 weeks or so from 11 DPO and he's now 4!

I think assume everything is fine especially as you have symptoms (but don't worry if they reduce a little every now and then, sometimes the hormones plateau a bit I think).

I've just had brown discharge from Friday to today, worried I was losing my pregnancy. Was scanned today and saw a very strong, regular heartbeat at 6 + 5. Try not to worry. God, I know it's hard and I did not take that advice but the early pregnancy nurse said that it's very common to get brown bleeding in pregnancy and it's usually down to stretching causing old blood to come away, or even old implantation bleeding.
So long as it's not bright red and painful it's ok. If it was a miscarriage you'd know.
Good luck and congratulations 🙂

Thankyou both, made me feel alot better. Bit annoying how every woman on this site, if theyve had a problem get scanned, my dr doesnt even mention early scans or blood tests to check my hcg levels or anything lol
