dont know if anyone can help. My boobs are really swollen and sore. They feel bruised and I can't touch them. This has been going on for about a week. I'm due on in the next couple of days. I know it's really early to be having sore boobs but I'm really worried as I had unprotected sex and I've never had sore boobs as part of pms before. I've also had really bad cramping for about a week. I've never experienced this before so I'm really worried :-(

Guess what there is a stick that you can piss on that may give you the answer you are looking for.

You can get sore boobs as an early pregnancy symptom.

When did you have unprotected sex?

As harsh as this sounds, the only thing you can do is take a test. Nobody is going to be able to reassure you or tell you any different until a pregnancy test has been taken. Sorry you're worried, but there are lots of options for you and you can talk them through here Flowers

Implantation cramping shouldn't last a week, 24hrs at most I'd say and in my experience I've had sore breasts after conception but dissimilar to pms soreness, pregnancy soreness radiated from under the armpit along the sides of my boobs if that makes sense. As you are due on in the next few days, a pregnancy test should show now wether or not you are pregnant, ironically the cheapest ones are usually the more accurate and tests can be picked up for £1 at places like proper job/pound land etc

Good luck

Thank you, it's the sides of my boobs that are really sore. The only reason I haven't done a test yet is because I wanted to wait until my period was due. I'll pick up a test today, thank you x

Unprotected sex =risk of pregnancy.

Do a test. We can't tell you if you are pregnant or not Hmm

I wasn't asking for anyone to tell me if I am pregnant I was simply asking to see if anyone had experienced the same

People can be incredibly bitchy on these threads. I know they're a bit tedious as there are so many of them but no-one is forcing us to read them. And when someone is panicking and scared and turning to a group of people for reassurance, surely the last thing they need is condescension and snide comments.

Doubtless the OP knows there is a "stick she can piss on" but it's perhaps a little too early and she is just looking for reassurance or just a kind word in the meantime.

OP- test as soon as you can. The sore breasts could well be a sign of pregnancy, but the bad cramping sounds more like pms. Update us when you've tested, won't you? Good luck!

Well said littleredhead. No need for the passive aggressive remarks and faces.

OP I've never experienced those symptoms when pregnanct but lots of other people have. I agree you should test as soon as you can. Hope you get the result you want.

Thank you for your kind comment. I spent all morning looking for somewhere to get some advice as I have no friends or family I can talk to. I didn't expect to get such horrid comments. I really just wanted some reassurance but obviously some people just sit on here to be unkind. Thank you for the nice comments though and to those of you who can't be nice I hope you find something more productive to do with your day :-)

But OP you must know those are symptoms of pregnancy, otherwise you wouldn't be posting on this board.

I wanted to know if other people have experienced the same. Forget I asked

Yes, they can be pregnancy symptoms for some but not for others. This is a place for advice and support and for people to share their experiences. If you can't offer either of those I don't think you should bother to post.

OP just ignore and continue posting whenever you need advice/reassurance.

Quite literally all you can do is wait and take a pregnancy test. Your boobs could be hurting for all sorts of reasons, however beginning to eliminate these will help. Either coming on your period or a positive pregnancy test will give you one answer. If you do start your period and at the end of it, your boobs are still so sore then you may need to look into other avenues.
