Am 6 weeks and this is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I miscarried so am really worried about everything this time round!! I've had a bit of discomfort in my lower tummy but not sure if it's just constipation or if I should be worried?? Haven't registered with doctor yet as just moved to a new area! Help please :(

Some aches and twinges are normal as your uterus streches

Are you due in October? If so you should come and join the October antenatal thread. Several ladies on there have been experiencing aches etc

If the pain is severe however please do get checked out and I would get registered asap

Hiya Katy4111

Unsure whether this advice will reassure you but with no bleeding these could be normal preg pains.

Btw I think you can see a doc even if they haven't got your notes yet...phone reception of a docs you like the look of and see if they can help. Its the sort of thing that happens if you are on holiday on a new area, you can always see a local doc although not registered.

So wouldn't wait phone the doc for peace of mind x

they can also give you the details of your local midwifes so you can arrange your first appt with them even before you are registered at the GP's of your choosing x congratulations Flowers and good luck with it all

also you can phone your last docs and speak to a doc with a telephone consultation x
