Should I stop poking my baby in the head? ;-)

Nearly 32 weeks. Babe is breech and keeps sticking his head out just under my ribcage - it's a fairly unmistakable giant hard ball sticking out. I find prodding it almost irresistible. He'd move if he didn't like it, right?

Poke ahead! I do the same with my breechling (now my 2nd out of 3!). If he doesn't like it he knows where he can go Grin

Me three - rather than poke I cup with a slightly rounded hand. It probably is annoying, but hey- a head in the liver isn't great. Not sure it's promoting the rotation I so desire though.... now nearly 36 weeks...

I'm not breech, but I am 31 weeks pregnant and enjoy chasing this little ones feet around just under my rib cage Smile

I call it revenge for the brutalising my innards get.

I think it's fine! I was the same - my midwife even showed me how to feel the outline of the head (although it was pretty obvious). I was almost disappointed when it turned head down at 37 weeks.

I liked to do that to Thursday, I now have a 3 year old with the world's most ticklish feet. I wonder if it's connected.

Haha. Amazing!
My brother was breech (when my mum was preg obvs) and he used to grab her ribs so she said that she used to smack him off them Grin

Mine keeps sticking it's backside out in a fairly substantial lump! It gets a prod quite frequently :-) getting excited to meet him/her now!

I poke arse and head. If they're going to stick it out then it's fair game Grin

Hahaha! Thank goodness for this thread!! Breech until 38 weeks for me and I couldn't resist a good prod much to the disgust of my DH! She's turned now so just poke her bum instead Grin

DP keeps telling me to leave baby alone but I can't help it! I've been poking the head to hopefully encourage it to turn... But I think even when it's head down I'll just be poking whatever sticks out! Grin

How do you tell the difference between arse and head?!

(Disclaimer: I'm okay once they're born, it's only babies still in utero that I have this problem with)
