Anyone else barely able to eat anything???

I'm 7 +3 and have horrible nausea, sickness and worst of all dry heaves. I see all these memes and blogs about how much pregnant people eat and apps advising not to go overboard but I'm struggling to eat much.
Baby seems to like fruit and sweetcorn but not much else. I would have thought it was way to early for food cravings/aversions but I definitely can't eat a lot of what I could pre-pregnancy.

I'm not afraid to throw up (that's not why I'm not eating as much) I just can't seem to get much down. It took me an hour and a half to eat half a baked potato today :/ my stomach feels full so easy.

Been basically eating a little when I can.

Anyone else going through this?
Any help/advise?

I lost 8 or 9lbs in my first 13 weeks as I couldn't eat much - just eat little and often what you fancy/ can stomach. Don't worry unless you aren't keeping much at all down. Baby will take what it needs, don't worry.

It will get better, between 5-12 weeks I lost over a stone, I couldn't face much and was also vomiting a lot. Baby still grew fine and my appetite increased in time.

If you're not already taking anything then pregnancy vitamins might just help put you at ease a bit, then at least you know you are getting the nutrients you need.

Thank you smile I have been taking my vitamins and everything I eat is really healthy (baby doesn't like anything unhealthy). Bring on second trimester!!

I've for horrendously slow digestion at the moment (9 weeks) so stuck in a cycle of feel sick with hunger/must eat now / feel ridiculously full, bloated and uncomfortable / can't eat anything else / feel sick with hunger. It's rubbish.

Me!! I've been so sick. Turned out I have severe mourning sickness ended up having to take anti sickness tablets 3 times a day to keep it under control and now it's not working confused hopefully it goes away for us all xx

I'm now 11 weeks and I think I'm starting to come out the other end!! Still nauseous most of the day. But the sickness which peaked 9/10 (right over xmas) seems to be a lot less!!

Hope you're all starting to feel better too
