Out of interest, can you get period style contraction pains on only one side or do they happen in the middle of stomach?

How far along are you? I had really bad pains in my right side this afternoon (28 weeks). Felt like a stitch. I know w you shouldn't Google symptoms, but looks like it's just round ligament pain. How you are feeling better x

Not sure about being one sided but the pain is certainly not always located at middle of stomach. My labour pains with ds were definitely in stomach, but with dd must lower down in pelvis/pubic area and a totally different kind of pain.

How many weeks are you? Do the pains come and go? Is there a pattern? X

41 weeks, only just started but I realise I'm probably hyper vigilant for symptoms at this point!

I remember the feeling. Did came at 42 weeks! Seemed to spend months weeks analysing every twinge of niggle.
I would must keep monitoring them to see if a pattern develops. Am sure you'll know when things are definitely happening.
Fingers crossed it is labour and things so smoothly for you ??

Thank you, it's so weird not knowing what a contraction feels like!

I had this the other day (now 40 +6) and it turned out to be nothing :( Google told me it was dehydration related so I had a drink and the pain went away. Which was kind of good but disappointing!
