Week 38 and feeling really really pissed off for no good reason, smallest things are irritating me eg window open too cold, window closed too hot, husband snoring etc... Is this normal? Hate the world! Lol

It was normal for me! I remember completely losing (road rage!) it whilst in the car going for a scan. My Ds (7 or 8 at the time) slid down in the seat as he was so embarrassed! I am the most patient driver normally, so it was a shock even to me!

It'll soon be over and you'll get back to normal OP :)

I was absolutely like this - it is like PMT magnified a hundred times!

It does pass, I promise :)

Oh god, yes, loads for me. My patience was worn paper thin. I'd even be Blush at myself during a 'moment'. I'd also cry and laugh uncontrollably too. I don't think I really understood mood swings until thrn!

Bad music on the radio is causing me irrational rage. DH is finding it hilarious as we're driving along. all of a sudden. He'll hear "THIS IS SHIT' as I wack the radio off ??

And the volume on the TV, very sensitive about that. It'll of been on for a while (I'm not watching it, usually knitting or reading) and I'll start yelling about how loud it is all of a sudden.

DH farted in bed last night, Que a tirade about my hatred for him.

However, I'm strangely calm, when, for example, the cat was sick all over the landing in the middle of the night. In exactly the path I have to take for my many night time trips to the loo.

God I hope so, DP has nicknamed the third trimester 'the rage trimester' - it really has been like PMS on steroids!

Think it's being exaggerated because I'm just sick of being pregnant now

It's so weird, I'm 38 weeks and it's come out of nowhere but I hate everything and everyone!

Yes! Well, for me. Last night I wanted to punch DH because he was chewing his food. (I managed to restrain myself!). I don't remember feeling this way in my last pregnancy, but this time round I've had waves of rage from about 37 weeks.

So happy I have seen this thread!

Everything is setting me off into a rage at the moment... road rage, muppets at work, the tv volume thing, oh leaving things on the worktop instead of putting in the dishwasher! arghhhh

My manager is so good at work - I'll rant about a particular women in our team who does not shut the f* up but my manager just says put my headphones on, listen to calming music and ignore her lol

So glad I'm not alone and there is light at the end of the tunnel! lol :)

I'm only 14 weeks now, but I was fantastically cross at the end of my last two. My favourite moment was finally getting into a proper face off with someone very senior and completely unused to his staff digging their heels in. My much older male colleagues in that group were very very impressed. I still am! Should have been doing it my whole career...

Mostly I just shouted at people on public transport who did not have sufficient manners. So enjoyable.

Hehe this week I ordered a cup of tea from a catering van which has two benches outside and one bench was empty. As I went to sit down with my tea an older couple literally RAN to the bench to beat me to it (me...the heavily pregnant woman juggling a bunch of dogs and a cup of tea) Normally I would have walked away but I looked at them and said "REALLY???!" then stormed off! hehe

What's really getting my goat is Paloma Faiths version of the world in union. Her shrieky voice bellowing through my head at every rugby related break...why!!!!????

I was like this in my second pregnancy up until about 16 weeks. I was angry with the world. This time my husband is just having to put up with some serious rants. I was so upset last night that he'd put too much chilli in dinner. Poor man - thankfully he'd had a glass of wine so was feeling relaxed and just took it on the chin. Blush

Thanks for this thread! I thought I was doing OK but the last week or two I've been feeling increasingly snappy and lost it with my kids this evening. My DP was hovering around the edges and snuck off to hang up the washing so I wouldn't shout at him too. Poor boy.

I'm 18wk + 2. I've read there's a hormone surge around now, while baby has a growth spurt. I'm blaming it on that, anyway.
