Bump dropped at 20 weeks...is this ok?

I am a bit worried my bump seems to have dropped in the last 24 hrs and I am only 20 weeks (on sat).

What's made me more concerned is I had a large gloopy clear (non smelling) discharge on Sunday night. I spoke to the midwife and she said it was nothing to worry about as no pain or blood and baby is still moving and wasn't the mucus plug as I initially thought.

Now i am a little neurotic there is something up. Is this normal as I didn't experience this with DS1 and don't want to call the midwife unless it's necessary.

My 20 wk scan is on Tuesday...maybe I am better off waiting till then?

Thanks Smile

As in a weeks time?

I'm not sure, it's easy to brush worries to one side and feel silly for messing people around if all is well. BUT...what if (God forbid) it's something serious and you didn't do anything about it.

Not trying to worry you op, but trust your gut now. You can't go back. And the worst a case scenario of you being wrong is feeling a bit silly- it doesn't matter.

Yes scan is in a week.... I think it's worthwhile checking but don't want to seem like the crazy pregnant women.

Would be good to know if this is normal or not?

If it's on your mind I would get checked out. I've just been checked over due to a ridiculous amount of watery discharge, the midwife sent me up to triage to be looked over. I felt like a complete timewaster after they did their checks but the doctor told me she much preferred to see false alarms. Not saying definitely go and be seen but you should relax if you do. Hope all is well.

Thanks everyone I was definitely being neurotic...

I woke up this morning and the bump has moved back...sorry to be so daft but after the discharge worry on Monday I got over anxious, particularly as DS1 never did this.

Appreciate your time and kind words
