Too scared to ask for DNA test

Just wondering if anyone has had to go through DNA testing before?

I'm a bit nervous to ask the person who I think is the dad because I've already told him he was definitely the dad. We're not together.

Basically at the dating scan I was told I was a week more than I thought so my due date was moved forward by 3 days but it is still too close to call.

I haven't had any contact with him since I told him because he said he didn't want kids and I think he's seeing someone else, so he might think I'm just telling him this because I'm wanting his attention.

I haven't had any contact with the other guy at all and don't want to tell him because he also made it clear he never wanted kids.

I think you might need to speak to a solicitor. One of these men - even if they want nothing to do with the child - will have a financial responsibility for the child that they helped to create.

I think that they can be compelled to take a paternity test, but only after the baby is born. There are means of dna testing before birth, but they carry a risk so are generally not used.
