Your defibatly not alone with this 1! I had this happen with my dd , I couldn't keep anything down for the 1st 4months then thought it was over with, but I was wrong it was back with a vengeance towards the end of my pregnancy. It's horrible you just get back on track then it's sneaks up on you. All you can do is eat little and often so your tummy is never to full or to empty, I also found ready salted crisps helped me, the salt settled your tummy . Weirdly lemon sweets helped too

For me it suddenly stoped at 16weeks, I just woke up one day and felt fine, and panicked because I thought something must be wrong. But like I said it was soon back then I regreted not enjoying the bit of time I had where I was ok. With my current pregnancy I've had no sickness just really bad nausea untill this week I'm really hoping it was a 1 off and not a sign of things to comeConfused

I've had constant nausea since 5+5 which I've been managing to keep at bay by snacking and I was getting used to that way of life. A week ago I was starting to feel better and I thought yes! Great! I can eat normally again and get out and about! I was wrong.... Monday lunchtime, at 13w, out of nowhere, I can't keep anything down! What's going on?!

I was the same loveletters I would give it a while before contacting ur gp, try sipping flat full sugar coke it has natural anti sickness in it. A doctor won't do anything unless it's very serious and then they would send you to hospital for a drip so you So you get dehydrated. It's just the rush of hormones in the first trimester that cause it so it would start to settle soon

Mine has ebbed and flowed. First few months were horrendous, ended up needing a drip. Then it got a little better at about 16 weeks but now I'm 21 weeks and I've been sick several times today with awful nausea. I'm having good days and bad days. The anti emetics do help a bit but they're not a magic bullet for me. Fatigue definitely makes it worse - rest all you can.
Unfortunately for some of us, the end of trimester one provides no relief :(
It is grim, and if it's severe enough to dehydrate you, you need medical attention. Otherwise, it's just roughing it out.

If one more person days "still? It's supposed to go at twelve weeks!" So help me god I will thump them. Ditto mentioning sodding ginger biscuits :)

It might be HG, as most cases of morning-sickness resolve by 16weeks. Are you vomiting a lot? Is heartburn/reflux an issue for you? I had a brief spell of feeling better around week13, then sickness came back a week later. I also started getting bad heartburn around this time so I think some of the nausea and vomiting was caused by this. Never had heartburn before pregnancy so initially I didn't realise what it was or that it was treatable! Maybe see if Rennies or Ranitidine make a difference?

I'm still being sick 2-3x day at 26weeks, plus intermittent nausea (I have HG). It's worth seeing your GP for anti-sickness meds if you're suffering, and ask midwife for an obstetrics referral via antenatal clinic if it's really bad.

With DS1 I was sick morning, noon and night every day. With DS2 I was horrendously sick in the first trimester then it stopped. But it came back in the third trimester with a vengeance...and I cried. I feel for you.

Mine comes back in the third trimester. I'm 33+6, and have thrown up two mornings this week. It came back in the third trimester during my last pregnancy, too. At least I just get the vomiting in the morning, not the all-day aversions to foods I'm normally fine with, when it comes back.

Part of what I get with nausea during pregnancy is that I'm more likely to get motion sickness. I'm always prone to motion sickness, but I really have to watch out for it when I'm pregnant. That never really did go away.

I've found that it's more likely to happen if I'm particularly stressed or tired on a given day.
