unfortunately my SIL did have rather a bad experience there, where they failed to spot a problem with the placenta. all is fine now, but it was a bit hairy for them at the time. my dad did too (but obviously that was for something v different!). but saying that, i have friends who've had their babies there and it has all been fine.

i would see how you feel when you meet the team and trust your instinct. if you are unsure, there are other local options to explore, like wythenshawe or st mary's.

other than having the baby, it's a really lovely area, so hope you are really happy there!

My sil had 2 babies there. She booked a private room for after an ELCS and seemed very happy with the care.

I had my first dc there it was ok. However they did send me home 4 hrs after giving birth and dd had meconium in her waters so I don't think that should have.
I had my next three babies at Wythenshawe they were amazing I would recommend them to anyone.
When I had my first at Macc I was living in wilmslow and could have chosen Wythenshawe so maybe you could too? I suppose it depends how far away you are. :)

Seen two midwives so far and a little concerned that they're very young Confused
Maybe that's unfair to say that, but it's making me feel nervous. Also today the young midwife didn't seem to know much.
Just concerned... Don't know what to do. Maybe change area?
