Pain under left ribs? Anyone else?!

Hi,
I'm 21w4d today and I have this strange dull pain under my ribs on my left side (I had it yesterday evening and again today, started around lunch time)
It is on the lateral going to the back a bit rather than front.
It's not sharp, it's dull and it comes only mainly when I sit and it goes away after I change position. I don't feel it when I stand/walk and it doesn't hurt when I breathe.
Initially I tried not to worry and put it down to stretching/growing pains but a friend of mine who finished med school a couple of years ago said it could be my spleen or the pancreas?! That totally scare the shit out of me Sad
Has anyone else had this?

It'll be growing pains. Your ligaments stretching probably.

I had rib flare, it started as a dull ache then got more and more sharp as my ribs stretched further.

I have no advice, it made my last trimester hell.

Yes I had this. It gets worse I'm afraid. Towards the end i had to wiggle myself into odd positions to try to stop the pain. Not sure what caused it, baby up there? Not sure.

I'm 17 weeks and have had this for about a week and a half, Again I wasn't sure what it was/is either. Mine hurts when I sit and when I bend/twist really sharp pain for me but dull when I'm sitting.
Clearly it's not the baby because it is too small and not up that high!!Confused
So not very helpful but sympathise!

More than likely it's the pressure from the growing uterus pushing the diaphragm up x

Ah, thank you all for reassuring me. I can stand the pain as long as I know it's normal in pregnancy. But when she said it could be my pancreas I thought 'oh, no' Sad got myself in a real state.
Today is much better thank god.
I do expect it will get worse later on.
I keep saying to myself "all for a good cause" Smile
