31 weeks pregnant now and still don't know baby's gender :)
It's our 4th and last so want a surprise!
Baby clothes wise I have bought all neutral in 0 3 months. The baby is due end of may so hopefully a sumber baby.
so far I have the following :
10 vests
10 sleepsuits
1 cardigan
3 hats

Blanket/shawl
moses fitted sheets X 3
moses blankets X 4
baby hooded towels X 3
Muslims X 5

Bugaboo
6 X bottles

Need
moses basket
baby bath
car seat and base
steriliser

Can you think of anything else?
Was thinking another cardigan?

I can't help thinking I have missed something off?
Baby will live in sleepsuits for first few months till ready for next sizes in boy/girls things.

I'd add a waterproof cover for the Moses basket mattress - until we found nappies that fit correctly DS's leaked all the time. I'd also add a few nappies from a few brands for the first week or so. Have you got something to shade the pram with when out in the sun? And a changing bag for when you're out and about :).

Oh, if that was my list I'd be adding dummies, the first time around I was adamant we wouldn't need them but DS was so 'sucky' that they really helped, incidently they also helped him bring up wind which was an issue for him in the beginning.

You sound very prepared, I'm 29 weeks with my 2nd and have sorted nothing yet!

I would be preferring a few cardigans unless you're not in the uk. Also I think baby bouncer (seat) is very handy.

Everybody has different opinions on this but I think you may need more vests and sleepsuits. A leaky nappy or a puke incident and you can be going through 3 of each a day so without a decent supply you are forever washing and drying them. Ditto Muslins if you have a sicky baby. Have you got bathroom type stuff - wipes/nail clippers or file/first aid stuff/ cotton wool/nappy bags/bum cream? Hats? (Am on phone so can't see the list while typing). Most newborn sleepsuits have mitts built in (sleeves fold down) so you mightn't need separate mitts.

Also are you sure you'll be having a large baby? I made the 0-3 months mistake with my first and my then dp and dm had to go to mothercare the day after she was born to get early baby size clothes! She didn't make it to 0-3 til she was 3 months!

I forgot to say how exciting to be having a surprise for your last, and good luck!

I was going to say the same about 0-3 clothes! My baby came early and I'm not sure why I thought they'd be that big anyway. Supermarkets do very cheap neutral tiny/newborn/first size so all bases covered

Is your aim to get the minimum before birth and wait til you find out if its a boy/girl?

That sounds fine, but I would get a few newborn sizes.

We had x6 babygrows and vests in newborn
And x6 in 0-3 months. Was plenty both times, as we were washing every few days anyway. Even now we have fair less clothes than many

I would add a few baby hats

More muslins!
And a bouncy chair is v handy, plenty around second hand or a basic one is about £10 so won't break the bank.

Are you going to get a monitor?
