Down in the dumps today

Today, I feel absolutely miserable! Morning Sickness has reared its ugly head in quite a colossal way today and frankly, I'm fed up with it. It feels like I've had it forever (it's only actually been for the past 4 and a bit weeks). My knockers have turned into one enormous, aching knocker that enters a room five minutes before I do. I'm so tired all the time that I can barely get anything done - as a result, the house is a tip and I've got the midwife coming round tomorrow for my booking in appointment. My hormones are sending my moods all over the place. Last night, my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I replied "For you to have the day off work, so you can spend it with me and some Jo Malone perfume." He immediately let out a huge sigh and said "God, I hate it when it's your birthday. It's so annoying."

On top of all this, I've had a stinking cold since Saturday that showing no signs of easing off. And I've just realised that, as I'm only 7 weeks pregnant, I've probably got at least another 7 weeks of this (if I'm lucky).

AAAAGH!

Anyone else feeling fed up and needing to sound off?

Know exactly how you feel, had part of my booking in appointment yesterday and the midwife is coming over next week to do the rest. I haven't actually been throwing up that much but I feel sooo sick all the time and getting up for the kids and work in mornings is a real struggle. I am so tired all the time and the last few days my boobs have doubled in size and ache like hell! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having mood swings, I totally let rip at my husband yesterday morning and then couldn't stop crying for most of the day!

About the birthday thing. My husband is no better. The last few years he has called me the day before and told me what an inconvenience it is for him to go shopping!

Thanks, Littlegem! Although I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering with morning sickness and all the rest too, it is comforting to know that I'm not the only one! How many weeks are you again? I seem to think that you're around the 7 or 8 week stage (the same as me) but I don't know why I think that!

I am 11 weeks and feeling knackererd all the time and the mood swings!! Feeling a little yukky but nothing too bad sickness wise.

Know what you mean about not getting anything done. I only work Thur and Fri so the other three week days I am supposed to do "jobs" but mostly I sit on the sofa watching TV. My poor parther is walking on egg shells and never knows what reception he will get when he comes home and the poor kids (age 10 and 6) just avoid me when I rant. Have huge boobs and trousers VERY tight today.

Also got a wicked headache today and don't want to be at work want to be at home laying on sofa!!!

Yep - 8 weeks on Monday! Does seem to have gone very quickly though. Last few days have had the odd moment of panic about having a baby in the house again and giving birth etc (every tv programme seems to be about pregnancy and labour!), made worse by the current nausea and tiredness I think as even though you know it doesn't last it feels as though you'll never feel well again!

The headache must be doing the rounds - I've had one since 10 this morning - really feeling sorry for myself now!
