ELCS booked for 39 weeks, DC1 induced at 14 days over, will I make it to 39 weeks?!

If anyone would participate in this, undoubtedly unscientific straw poll, I would be very grateful! I am expecting DC2, DC1 having been hauled out by EMCS after lengthy and dreadful induction at 42 weeks.
Given that DC1 was so reluctant to leave I had assumed all along that DC2 would do the same, and am planning on working until 39 weeks.
Over the last few days I have started to feel like the bump has dropped a lot, and started to get those familiar shooting pains in the cervix area which I got last time but not until later on. I am starting to get a bit of a "feeling" that an early arrival might be a possibility, having totally discounted it until now.
If your first was really reluctant to come out, was your second the same? Or did they surprise you?
Thanks in advance!

My first was an EMCS at 11 days overdue.
My second was an elective section at 39 weeks (made it, although I had niggles and a show in the days running up to it).
My 3rd (getting blasé now) is to be an ELCS at 39+5, and I'm very nearly there with no signs of labour.

So based on an unscientific study of one, I think you'll be fine Grin.

My first was an induction that started at 40+12 and ended at 40+14, a full 2 days later, after an extremely reluctant DS was finally born, after every intervention bar a section.

DD was an elective section at 38+6 purely coz my doc was doing surgeries that day.

Number 3 is booked in for elective section at 39+3, again coz of the way my due date falls and consultant's surgery days. He says no reason to believe I'd go early but if I do to just head in and he'll section me then.

Thanks! Maybe I won't have to sit at work with my legs crossed after all!

I'm watching with interest as I was induced with DD and had her 15 days late. Booked for a CS this time and have been told that there is no pattern to whether a second would be late having had the first late. Obviously I would rather make my CS date.

EMCS at 41 w
Crash EMCS (failed VBAC) at 41+3
ELCS - booked at 40w: I was confident he wasn't going to come early. Had the last ELCS slot that day (around lunchtime), and no signs of impending labour as I sat there waiting.
