Does anyone know where can get nice pg tights - don't want sheer ones or thick black opaque ones but nice ones - kind of knitted pattern ones - like nice fishnets iyswim! Bloom Marv just have plain ones - any ideas? Thanks

I used to get my maternity tights from mothercare, they do quite a good range. Otherwise have you tried going up a few sizes with normal fashion tights?

its tragically difficult, i've found

but i've found that the very nylonny fishnetty ones (little holes) have lots of room for expansion. and you can always snip the waistbands on normal ones.

John Lewis only seem to sell mamaspanx in sheer natural or black....fof fifteen quid a throw.

Could you wear holdups ? Or are they just too much trouble?

I was reading in the Lesley Regan book that holdups or even knee-highs aren't good because of circulation with all the extra blood going round, risk of varicose veins. I've got M&S opaques - brilliant - got Mothercare alleged opaques in last pregnancy, were absolute rubbish. but for fancy tights, not sure. try M&S website?
