Pregnancy

40 weeks, keep thinking I'm getting contractions?

This is my second pregnancy and I have been getting for about a week, what feels like early painful contractions, but then turn into nothing. It's so frustrating. With my first I never got cramping, or contraction type pains until I was actually in labour! Which means this time round is so confusing, when I thought I would be a lot more clued up! Anyone else like this?

I'm 38+5 and have been having them for about a week now, every night, but by the morning they're gone.

SIGH

I think I had them a bit with last baby (who came at 40+5) but not as early as this. Keep getting excited, then fed up. I guess when labour really happens we'll know it!

It is very frustrating :( glad I'm not the only one. My first was 12 days overdue, so hopefully she's not as snug as her lol
