Pregnancy

Has anyone had a pregnancy that was completely different from the others?

Sorry for starting so a any threads. This pregnancy really was a big shock!

I am full of anxiety though, I can't shake the feeling something isn't right. Sad

This will be baby number 4 if all goes well.

With my 3 boys I've had HG from the word go, this time I have mild nausea but cracking heartburn,

I've not had the horrid taste in the mouth or super smell.

I think it's made worse by the fact that I have no clue how far along I am because I was on the pill.

I've had 7 early miscarriages before but this doesn't feel like then either.

I'm hoping to get a dating scan within the week if my GP can successfully push it through.

I hate being a ball of nerves, it's not like me at all.

Yes both of mine were different. I had a boy and a girl.

One pg - went right off pickles, sex, tea and meat. Not much morning sickness, mental health ok, terrible back ache at first but no other muscle problems, sense of smell to shame a blood hound. No bladder problems but would urgently need a wee at random in first 14 weeks or so. Had patches of pigmentation on face.

Other pg - voracious appetite for sex and red meat. Awful nausea for weeks. Mental health shot to bits, awful SPD, had to cross legs to sneeze or cough. But no weird pigmentation, didn't go off any foods and weird blood hound smell only slightly enhanced because it never really went after first but has mostly gone after second. Awful Braxton Hix.

My labours were almost exactly the same though!

Congratulations :)

Both different. First craved savoury food, second craved sweet things. Both had horrendous heartburn. First 12 hour labour, second two day labour! Had two boys.

This one is and it a boy after 4 girls, I've felt sick for much longer (still rough at 30 weeks), bumps a different shape and I've gone off sweet stuff which never happens.

I know people say it's old wives tales about there being a difference but I think there is.

Mines different and I'm having a boy after 3 girls. I've not been sick at all which I'm bloody glad about and my heartburn is only if I eat something odd, I had heartburn all the time with my girls.

No idea if it's linked but I don't have gestational diabetes this time either.

I'm on my second pregnancy.
I absolutely breezed through my first, no morning sickness, no heartburn, no cravings, nothing. She was a girl.

Second one, I've never felt so ill in my life, and am still being sick at 25 weeks, and look terrible. I had massive salt and vinegar cravings and have horrendous heartburn. This one is a boy.

Awful heartburn with all of mine and I'm expecting my 4th girl Smile

All mine been pretty similar, very tired first 3 months, no sickness but did feel rubbish if I didn't eat carbs every few hours, really easy pregnancies, no issues or complications and carried very small and neat (just a football) with all
