I'm nearly 16 weeks and been getting shooting twinges in my vagina! Is this normal?!

Me too! And back THERE as well. Very curious about this, just put it down to weird pregnancy aches and pains, (the list seems endless) only 6+4 today....

Ah yes ladies, I'm 34 weeks now and have them more than ever in fact I'm actually a bit sore down there now. Think it's to do with baby being low (mines been head down the whole time) she is banging at the exit and of course there loads of nerves down there with more blood circulation as well.

I had this too but it went away before I worked up the courage to ask the midwife about it! Wonder if it's just part of the general stretching and things moving around pains...

I had it with both pregnancies. With first it was baby's head being very low and banging on it.. And also stretching pain!
Now with second it was first baby was with feet on top of my bladder and now she loves to play with her fingers.. Also again head pressing down.. I'm now 32 weeks and gradually in the last week couple weeks got SPD/PGP. And I noticed the closer the due date gets the worse it gets!!

But if you are concerned ring your midwife.

I posted about this in the March thread yesterday! I have been getting them on and off and they are really sharp shooting pains! Ppl have assured me it's stretchy ligaments but I will ask the midwife next time I see her, I'm 11wks

They come and go and aren't painful, just noticeable. I'm seeing the consultant Friday so will ask him then.

Lightning crotch. It's really fun when it happens in the middle of a sentence and your face goes like this Shock
