So its 1am I am 39+4 and I'm sat in the living room unable to sleep! I just don't feel right. DS is teething and so joined us in our bed about an hour ago but I've had to get out cos i was just so uncomfy I worried I'd wake him up!

I had a failed attempt at a stretch and sweep Saturday morning ie she could just about reach my cervix but couldn't perform a full sweep. Nothing appears to be happening in terms of labour but I just feel a bit 'funny'. I had to have a lie down earlier because I felt a bit spaced out and sick but that passed. Now I'm tired but just can't seem to drift off to sleep.

Is this a sign that maybe things are slowly starting to happen or simply one of those nights??

Are you really uncomfortable? I couldn't settle all day the day I went into labour, and felt a bit icky all day. This could possibly be it (but if you're anything like me you'll be looking for symptoms everywhere!)

Good luck! You'll either be asleep or in labour by now probably, but on the off chance you're still awake - ThanksThanksThanks
